FAQs
Have questions about FosterSoccer?
We’re here to help! Whether you need details about our programs, want to talk about player pathways, or have any other inquiries, just reach out.
CONTACT US1.What age groups does FosterSoccer cater to?
We welcome players from U6 through U18. Training groups are set by age and current ability so every player is challenged while staying confident.
2.What makes FosterSoccer’s coaching approach different?
Our curriculum blends technical mastery, decision-making, and character. We use small-sided games, guided discovery, and individual development plans to help players grow on and off the field.
3.How do I register my child?
Create an account, choose your location and program, and complete secure checkout. A confirmation email includes season dates, venue info, and what to bring.
4.What programs do you offer?
Foundations (skills), Development Centers, Goalkeeper Training, Elite squads, Weekend Leagues, Holiday Clinics, and Seasonal Camps. Pathways exist from beginners to college-prep.
5.Do you run tryouts or assessments?
Elite squads require an assessment or invitation. All other programs are open-enrollment with a short onboarding so coaches can place players in the right training group.
6.Where are sessions held?
We use quality turf and grass facilities across the city. Exact venues appear in registration based on the season and program you select.
7.Are payment plans or scholarships available?
Yes—installment plans are offered at checkout. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available each season; contact us for details and timelines.
8.How do I keep up with news, schedules, and updates?
Turn on email notifications in your account and follow our social channels. We also send a weekly digest with schedule reminders, highlights, and player spotlights.
9.Do you offer refunds or credits?
We follow a fair-play policy: pro-rated credits for medical reasons or relocation, and weather make-ups when possible. Full policy appears during checkout.
10.How do I find my player ID?
Your FosterSoccer ID is visible in your account profile and in your registration confirmation email.
11.If uniforms are delayed, what should my player wear?
A plain tee and shorts are fine—shin guards and soccer cleats required. Coaches provide pinnies for scrimmages until kits arrive.
12.Who do I contact for merchandise, uniforms, or store issues?
Use the Contact page and choose “Merchandise & Uniforms.” Include your order number for the fastest help.
13.What equipment does my child need?
Shin guards, soccer cleats, water bottle, and a ball (Size 3: U6–U8, Size 4: U9–U12, Size 5: U13+). We’ll notify you if anything else is needed.
14.Do you offer make-up sessions for missed practices?
Weather-related cancellations are typically made up. For personal absences, make-ups depend on space and schedule—ask your coach or coordinator.
15.How do you ensure player safety and welfare?
All coaches follow safeguarding and first-aid protocols. Facilities are vetted, and sessions include proper warm-ups, hydration breaks, and age-appropriate workloads.
16.Can my child move up or down an age group?
Possibly. We assess readiness and safety with coaches and parents. Placement is based on what best supports the player’s development and confidence.
17.What if the weather is bad?
We train through light rain but pause for lightning, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions. Alerts are sent via email/SMS and the session is rescheduled when possible.
18.Can I volunteer or become a coach?
We’d love to hear from you. Visit the Contact page and choose “Programs & Training” to start the conversation about volunteering or coaching pathways.
